Cooney Driving School is located in downtown Trenton. We are a Ministry of Transportation (MTO) approved beginner driver education (BDE) course provider. Cooney Driving School is a CAA Approved Driving School. Owner Paul Cooney has been a licensed driving instructor since 1994. He received his training at the Ontario Safety League in Toronto. Paul... has achieved his In-car Instructors Certificate, Techniques of Instruction, In-class Instructors Certificate and Skid Control Certificate from Petro Canada skid control school. As a former owner of a driving school in Belleville and has taught in Ottawa and Kingston, Paul has a wealth of experience in a variety of different driving environments. Cooney Driving School is committed to providing the best quality course possible and increase road safety for everyone, by equipping our students with the best skills and knowledge through dedicated instructors and the latest teaching technology. The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) require driving school's to provide 40 hours of instruction. This is divided into three categories, 20 hours of in-class training, 10 hours of (private) in-car training and 10 hours of independent assignments.Read More
