Connections, LLC. is a center-based autism treatment program with two locations one located in Appleton, WI and the other in Kimberly, WI. We pride ourselves on making sure that each child achieves their greatest potential by providing services that will give them the skills and behaviors needed to succeed. Center-based autism treatment is unlike a... ny other treatment currently provided in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas. This model of treatment can allow the child to acquire skills by being taught both individually and in a group, and be engaged in social learning situations. To ensure generalization to the home environment and community, Behavioral Treatment Therapists will conduct assessments, run programs, collect data, and provide parents with support to ensure that the child responds consistently across all environments. Connections uses evidence-based therapy approaches in that of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Applied Verbal Behavior (AVB). Based on these principles, Connections will define behaviors in measurable and objective terms, study behavior through a three-term contingency, examine relationships between behaviors and their controlling variables, and finally analyze socially significant behaviors that are need of an improvement.
