As a Service Coordinator with Westside Regional Center in Los Angeles, he assisted consumers and families in accessing premier Adult Day Programs. He has been the former President of the Colorado Governors Council on Transition Services. Dr. DeCilla has been a presenter at numerous disability awareness conferences nationally and internationally on topics ranging from School to Work, Transition Planning for Students and Families and Community Integrated Employment. In Denver, Colorado, since 2001, he is the Executive Director of Comprehensive Community Based Services (CCBS). CCBS is a Program Approved Service Agency (PASA) with the State Of Colorado. CCBS provides integrated, community based services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. CCBS has contractual agreements with Rocky Mountain Human Services, Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, North Metro Community Center Board, Developmental Pathways, and the Colorado Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services .
