COMPEX Group founded in Beirut, Lebanon. The political situation in Lebanon had just begun to stabilize after the civil war, and businesses were in the process of recovering from the phase of disorder that had followed them for 25 years. Salwa Charabati saw this as a major opportunity to help players regain control of their businesses and help them... set viable strategies for the future. Consequently, COMPEX Group was founded in Lebanon, in 1990, by Salwa CHARABATI (MBA, CPA). COMPEX Group joined LACPA and entered the multinational network. COMPEX was registered in the Lebanese Association for Certified Public Accountants (LACPA) in 1994.COMPEX began working for a multinational company on a contractual basis. COMPEX's mission was the restructuring of the financial department of the company's branch in Beirut.COMPEX was nominated as the auditor of this multinational company following the success of its mission, which opened the door to many other multinational firms. COMPEX Group expands its geographical coverage. Following COMPEX's great success in serving the local market in Lebanon, many of our clients requested our services for their branches abroad. Gaining reputation and credibility in foreign markets, COMPEX's client base continued to expand beyond the Lebanese border. As such, COMPEX began serving the markets in Syria, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey and other neighboring countries as of 2001. COMPEX Group opens a Consulting Department Previously, COMPEX had been rendering consultancy services among its other services. However, COMPEX recognized the need to split the consultancy service by creating a specific department and hiring specialized consultants to meet the growing demand for this service.
