With nearly 25 years in the aviation industry, Rebecca has extensive experience across a wide range of aviation sub-fields. She understands general and business aviation, aircraft manufacturers, defense contractors, airports, flight schools, and regional and major airline carriers inside and out. The majority of her career has been spent marketing... aviation products and services to high net-worth individuals and businesses. Rebecca created CompassSwing in 2012 to assist aviation businesses and organizations in establishing direction in their marketing operations. Her clients include a leading aircraft manufacturer, an aviation-specific equipment provider, an international aviation association, a specialized flight school, a simulator flight training provider, and other marketing firms. During her career, Rebecca has worked as the Director of Marketing for a top selling aircraft dealer and service center representing multiple aircraft manufacturers. In that role, she was responsible for creating product positioning messages related to the piston, turboprop, and VLJ product lines, identifying the appropriate marketing mix for the companys divisions, integrating social media into the marketing mix, and evaluating market performance of both the marketing and sales departments. She has also worked for a top-rated Fixed Base Operator (FBO) in a major metropolitan area as the Director of Business Development. Her responsibilities there included evaluating corporate growth opportunities, implementing new technology and managing all of the company's marketing initiatives, including not only the FBOs services, but also the company's Part-135 charter operation, Part-145 repair station, avionics shop, aircraft management division, flight school, and Part 91(k) fractional ownership program.
