This direction, or guidance, most often involves us working with our legal adviser or attorney to make sure your legal documents, such as your wills, powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, etc.,say exactly what you want. It involves making sure beneficiaries on retirement plans and life insurance policies are stated as you want. It may involve the rearrangement of assets to better reflect the current season of your life or a variety of other considerations. Though it does take some work and some thought, the end result of having a plan that you are comfortable with and that you understand provides a fair amount of peace of mind for all concerned. There is no charge for our portion of these services. If there are things you want to do to accomplish your goals, there may be some costs involved, but we would have a chance to evaluate and consider them before they are incurred.
