Compass Behavioral Health is a leader in training the mental health community in proven, evidence-based treatments. Executive Director Cherie Mills, LMFT has trained UCI Child and Adolescent psychiatry fellows in DBT for the past ten years. In addition, Compass Behavioral Health currently offers a regular educational series for clinicians called "Learning Community. Learning Community is a six-week, two-hour course that covers the most essential techniques of DBT therapy. This community also assists therapist in becoming certified in DBT by providing education and support for learning the essentials of the Core Text by Dr. Marcia Linehan (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder). Learning Community is held Fridays from 10-12.
