The concept of starting a niche service and maintenance shop catering solely to Honda and Acura clients developed organically through Jim's extensive dealership experience. He realized that clients wanted more than wha... t they were being offered. They wanted an honest, consistent, reliable relationship with their technician. They wanted better quality and better rates and an alternative to dealership service. Thus Compass Automotive was born! As life-long residents of Joliet (we've been here 40 years!) we wanted to keep our business local. So, we did just that! In October 2013, home-based Compass Automotive opened for business with one objective in mindcomplete satisfaction for every client. Unfortunately, we know that many people have had lousy experiences with auto repair and it's simply not acceptable.
