Community Day School is committed to helping every Jewish family in Pittsburgh realize the dream of a CDS education for their children, regardless of financial status. The company's school values an inclusive, socioeconomically diverse community. The company strives to provide tuition assistance to all who are eligible, aiming to make CDS affordabl... e for as many families as possible. The company currently award tuition assistance to approximately 60 percent of the company's students. The company's robust tuition assistance program is made possible through the generous financial support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and community donors, as well as state Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) funds received from the Pittsburgh Jewish Educational Improvement Foundation, managed by Federation. Awards of tuition assistance are offered on the basis of demonstrated financial need, and the company encourage all families concerned about affordability to apply. The tuition assistance process is always kept strictly confidential and separate from admission decisions. Please use the standardized FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Application to apply for tuition assistance (a $30 processing fee applies). Award decisions for the 2016-2017 academic year will be communicated in February. Late applicants will be considered based on the availability of funds.
