Neighbourhood Connections (Te Hapori Herenga Tangata) is part of Community Connections Te Hapori Awhina Tangata, a community based disability service which primarily offers a Supported Living service with some Residential services as well. We operate in the Greater Wellington region (Wellington, Hutt Valley, Porirua and Kapiti), The Manawatu (Palme... rston North and Levin), the Hawkes Bay, the Bay of Plenty, and Taranaki. We have a strong commitment to a person-directed support approach so people can live the life they choose within their own community. Take a look at some of Our Stories . Our vision is of a society where people with disabilities are embraced as fully participating citizens, where barriers to inclusion are removed and where each person is respected and valued for who they are. We believe that, with support, people with disabilities can live the life they want within the community of their choice. Networks is great because its introduced me to people who will always be there and able to talk to me. The network helps me to see light.
