Community Care Solutions provides support to the Certified Pain Physicians who staff each Company Clinic. These physicians see patients in their Clinic, oversee the APRN(s) and perform interventional pain procedures. The Certified Pain Physician may also serve as Medical Director of the locally based Pain Management Program. Corporate oversight inc... ludes monitoring the monthly clinical meetings between the Certified Pain Physician and APRN and quarterly meetings focused on quality assessment and process improvement, held between the Program Medical Director, APRN and CCS Vice President of Clinical Operations. Community Care Solutions' Board Certified Anesthesiologist, specializing in Pain Medicine, is able to remotely access patient charts and is able to communicate regularly with the Certified Pain Physician at each non-urban Clinic location. This professional support is provided in conjunction with the support provided to the APRN(s) by the Company's Vice President of Clinical Operations. The Company's Vice President of Clinical Operations communicates regularly with the APRN(s) to ensure appropriate protocols, policies and procedures are being followed. Also, it is important that all providers are up to date on DEA, State and Federal regulations; so the Company ensures all patient records and forms are completed appropriately. Pain Management is under scrutiny because of medication/narcotic abuse; so the Company must support the Clinic and Medical Staff to ensure compliance.
