Community Advisory Board

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) serves as a critical oversight entity dedicated to fostering trust between the University of Southern California, its Department of Public Safety, and the surrounding Los Angeles community. By facilitating open dialogue and rigorous examination of public safety practices, the organization ensures that institutional policies remain aligned with the needs of students, faculty, staff, and local residents. With a workforce of 500-1,000 employees and a physical footprint spanning 3 locations, the organization maintains a robust operational presence. The board itself is composed of 19 dedicated members who oversee strategic advisory functions to enhance public safety protocols.
