Communication Works has been offering speech and language therapy since 1998. It was originally opened in Nelson, British Columbia and relocated to Chelsea, Quebec in the year 2000. Communication Works now operates from an office in the Hintonburg area of Ottawa, Ontario. The Chelsea office is closed as of April 1, 2015, however, new and existing Q... uebec clients can still obtain services at the Ottawa location. Communication Works offers speech and language therapy to both children and adults with a variety of communication disorders. Our philosophy is to work with family, significant others and professionals (Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, teachers and education aides), whenever possible, in both the evaluation and intervention process, in order to provide a more effective treatment program.
