Comedy Uncovered is Toronto's first online comedy industry magazine. Known for it's credible and comprehensive content including interviews, show listings, recommendations and more, theyve had over 150,000 page views since launching in 2012. Comedy Uncovered was chosen to complete festival coverage / social media / promotion for JFL42, NXNE, The Da... rk Comedy Festival, BCIF, Impulse, and more. Through feature interviews, live showcases, video interviews, open mic listings, media reviews, and daily recommendations (over 600 and counting...), Comedy Uncovered is a resource for both comedians and fans. We're Torontos comedy through-line for improv, stand up, sketch and beyond. We know whos hot, why, and where theyre playing next. Aside from producing monthly sold out shows, Comedy Uncovered also presents single-run shows featuring international comics (ie. Joe Derosa) at Toronto's Comedy Bar. Comedy Uncovered also produced the Canadian Comedy Industry Weekend Intensive course designed to teach performers the business, technical, and social fundamentals to making a career in Stand Up comedy in Canada. Comedy Uncovered has been featured in Toronto.com, BlogTO, The Scene Magazine, Q107 and more. Our live showcases have been part of NXNE, The Dark Comedy Festival, and have featured international headliners such as Big Jay Oakerson (Louie, Comedy Central: Presents), Robert Bobby Kelly (Louie, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn), and national favorite like Sean Cullen (The Sean Cullen Show), Mark Forward (The Jon Dore Show, Mr. D.), Adam Growe (Cash Cab), Chris Locke (MTV, Just For Laughs), and many more.
