We breed purebred Arabian and Arabian derivative horses for show, performance, endurance, pony club and family backyards and become a treasured part of the family. We have a nucleus of Pure Crabbet Arabians began with the stallion Silver Wind Van Nina and include the... bloodlines of such Crabbet greats as Somerled, Silver Moonlight*, Silver Fire, Electric Silver*, Grand Royal*, Silwan*, Sindh*, Riffal*, Crystal Fire* and Skowronek. The farm is situated on 40 acres of grazing land in the Lockyer Valley in South East Queensland, Australia, one hour west from Brisbane along the Warrego Highway and a half hour from Toowoomba, with easy access on sealed roads. Our horses are trained and shown at halter, under saddle and in harness and have the bloodlines, confirmation and attitude required for success in endurance. We occassionally have youngstock for sale. A PURE CRABBET ARABIAN is one which traces in all lines of its pedigree to Pure Arabian horses owned or bred by Lady Anne Blunt, Wilfrid Blunt, Lady Wentworth, Cecil Covey and the Crabbet Stud.. CRABBET BRED refers to those Pure Arabian horses which are of predominantly Crabbet breeding i.e 75% or over CrabbetArabian Breeding. The Crabbet Arabian Stud was established on 2 July 1878 when the first Arabian horses brought to England by Wilfrid Scawen Blunt and Lady Anne Blunt arrived at Crabbet Park, their estate in Sussex. Six months earlier, while staying in Aleppo, Wilfrid and Lady Anne had made a plan to import some of the best Arabian horses to England and breed them there.
