COM Publishing

COM Publishing is a small press dedicated to bringing the best authors into print without the constraints that come with the larger houses. COM was conceived in 1999 by Annabelle McIlnay, a long-time editor and published novelist, along with her protégé, author Christine Owens. At COM, the artist comes first. COM publishes fiction and nonfiction in... a full range of formats - including hardcover, trade paperback, mass market paperback, audio, electronic, and digital. Sword and Science is the first imprint launched under the COM banner. Sword and Science will offer science fiction and fantasy novels, as well as metaphysical non-fiction. Future imprints include Ink and Dagger (mystery) and Blood and Blade (horror). COM Publishing, in partnership with Dark Elf Designs, will also publish comic books and graphic novels. Dark Elf is an alliance of artists, inkers, and colorists who provide the images to go with our imaginations. Like COM, Dark Elf is dedicated to providing an outlet for creative voices that otherwise might go unheard. What sets COM apart from the other larger houses is that we're not just publishers and editors, we're writers as well.
