Columbus Dream Center

The Columbus Dream Center is a non-profit, faith based charity organization founded in January of 2001 for the purpose of educating, supporting and enhancing the at-risk and economically deprived communities in the City of Columbus . By serving these communities, we are able to break down walls and build lives, instill values into children and teen... agers by building self-esteem through accomplishment and most importantly restore hope for future generations. Our goal at the Dream Center is to provide opportunities to change mindsets, thereby changing the environment. The Dream Center vision was born from the Adopt-A-Block program when a group of individuals decided to start reaching out to their community and help those who were less fortunate than themselves and who were not physically able to help themselves. Those people teamed up to begin picking up trash in the streets and yards, cleaning up and mowing grass for the widows and elderly, bringing snacks for the children and building relationships with the families by first meeting their physical needs.Read More
