CCHS offered its first program, Park West Court Apartments (PWCA), and has since served the community for over 30 years. PWCA is a 24/7 residential facility designed as an apartment complex setting. CCHS started Supported Community Living, a provider of comprehensive in-home support services to individuals with disabilities in Central Ohio. Open Do... or Art Studio opened and acts simultaneously as a studio space and gallery, professional artist work with studio artists to develop their unique artistic voices and to experience opportunities afforded through the arts. The Career and Activity Center (CAC) opened a 20,000 square foot facility that provides a multitude of activities and opportunities. CCHS Supported Employment was developed to meet the needs of vocational training and career development and has since assisted many individuals in finding careers and jobs specific to their personal interests and needs. CCHS expanded services into Union County providing Supported Employment through industry partnerships as well as meeting the needs for other services to the individuals in Union County. Little Fish Printing and Gallery opened in the Short North Arts District and produces custom screen printed apparel as well as showcasing the work of the artists in programs throughout CCHS including Little Fish Marysville in Union County. CCHS is and always has been a pioneer in the service field and continues to develop new approaches to integration and person centered planning.
