No two boards are identical. The cheese boards come in two sizes, 18 & 24 inches long and 6-8 inches wide. The cutting boards are milled to a thickness of approximately 1.25 inches and are approximately 15-17 inches long. The centerpiece boards vary in thickness between 1 to 1.25 inches thick and measure 36 inches long. All boards can be custom ord... ered based on your requirements. All of the boards are planed after drying to create an even surface. The boards are then hand sanded for a smooth serving surface. The bottoms and sides of the boards are sealed with a low luster water based polyurethane to bring out the natural beauty of the wood grain and bark. The top or all boards are finished and sealed with a combination of double filtered organic beeswax from the State of Washington and walnut oil. This combination creates a food safe serving and cutting service. Non-skid feet are attached to the bottom of the boards to elevated them from your work or serving surface. Detail abounds in these all natural boards. The grain and natural bark edges truly make these exquisite boards unique. Each board comes in a muslin bag with our trademark logo.
