Coloured Fin Ltd was established with six (6) employees headed by Chairman Capt. Stanley S. Mathurin a Master Mariner. The Company now has three hundred (300) permanent and thirty-eight (38) contracted employees consisting a cadre of qualified and highly experienced Masters, Navigating Officers, Engineers and Crew. The Company, when established, ow... ned, managed and operated a single water tender. Coloured Fin now owns, manages and operates a fleet consisting of nine (9) tugboats with horse power ranging from 900 to 5000, four (4) passenger launches with capacities of 15, 24, 27, and 47 passengers respectively and three (3) water tenders of 260, two (2) 300 and 1,000 tons and one (1) 600 ton Liquid Barge . The Company also provides tug services in St. Lucia, and is now in the process of expanding these services to other islands in the Caribbean. Coloured Fin Limited is the only dedicated domestic and drill water supplier, servicing the shipping and oil exploration industries in Trinidad and Tobago. The Company, in addition to its towage, water delivery, passenger and Courier services (supplies etc.) to vessels outside the territorial waters of Trinidad and Tobago, provides line handling launches and crews at the LNG terminals at Point Fortin and Point Lisas. The Company also manages 4 Tugs and 3 Workboats for the National Energy Cooperation through our sister company Coloured Fin Management Limited which is chaired by Capt. Stanley Mathurin. The Company also manages (2) two line handling work boats for NuStar Energy L.P. in St. Eustatius. In an effort to improve our efficiency and thereby provide an internationally recognized standard of service at competitive prices; to maintain the efficiency of our fleet and personnel, the Company has established a continuous training program and is now ISM certified for our ship and shore operations.
