Colors Unlimited was established in Austin, Texas in 1986 to service the flooring needs in the multi-family housing industry. Owner, Ken Stanley, having been raised in his family's carpet business, built Colors Unlimited on two basic concepts: Provide a quality material at a competitive price and separate yourself from the competition with unmatche... d Customer Service. Strict adherence to these two simple principles has provided the means for Colors Unlimited expansion throughout all of Central Texas. Convinced that Ken could make a difference in the highly competitive flooring market, he created a company that clearly separates itself from the competition. Since that time Colors Unlimited has expanded to serve all of Central Texas. Ken has been a member of the Austin Apartment Association since 1989 and has served as Second Vice-President and Chairman of the Products and Service Council. He immediately joined the San Antonio Apartment Association after the opening of the San Antonio branch and continues to be actively involved. Based on the principals of integrity and reliability, Ken oversees all operations to maintain the level of Customer Service that has made Colors Unlimited a respected participant in the multi family flooring industry. Training and retaining top-notch installation crews has always been a focus for Colors Unlimited. Our seniority system and ability to communicate effectively with our installation crews has paid huge dividends. The first five installation crews hired by Colors Unlimited are still with the company; four of our original helpers now lead installation crews.
