Colombo American Foundation Inc, is a registered and approved 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit Organization head quartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and with a filial office in Bogota, Colombia. We are committed to the integral development of our community. Our programs are focused on sharing knowledge, performing and strengthening the best practices that... promote self-sustainability for the less favored families for reasons of language, economy, legal situations, cultural issues and any other factors that keeps these people in a situation of vulnerability. To achieve our goals, we create our own programs and make agreements with universities and public/private organizations with similar objectives whose programs can be complemented with our ideas and experience. One of our current contributions to the community is being made to support Crisis response Committee (CRC) in Charlotte-Mecklenburg in order to help people expunge the criminal records they have in the state of North Carolina. This legal process has already benefited more than 500 people who had a criminal record that did not allow them to improve their work, economic, family or social situation.
