Collegedale Public Library is a valuable community resource, providing materials, information, services and programs to support and enrich lives and to promote lifelong learning and the enjoyment of reading. Mondays-Thursdays 10-7, Fridays 10-5, Saturday and Sundays 1-5. Collegedale Public Library has been a supported service of the City of Collegedale since August 15, 2011. Anyone who was previously registered at the Ooltewah/Collegedale Branch must re-register for a new library card. Identification and proof of current address are required when registering for a library card, which is available at no cost to Collegedale residents (their property taxes fund the Library) and for a fee to non-residents. Non-resident library card fees per year are: $60/individual; $85/family; $50/senior; $65/senior family. It is not necessary to have a library card to use materials in the library or to attend programs, and a guest number for computer use in available for $1 for 2 hours.
