In January 2005, Colegio de Dagupan as named now, was granted Level II - Formal Accreditation Status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) in Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Management, Managerial Accounting and Banking and Finance Program. Consequently, on November 14, 2007, Colegio de Dagupan was classified by the CHED as Category A (t) pursuant to CMO No. 15 s. 2005, the highest in the said category. In March 2007, the College of Information and Computing Studies was awarded Center of Development (COD) in Information Technology, a testament of the school's commitment to providing quality instruction, advanced research and relevant outreach and extension programs in this field. The College will enjoy the recognition until 2010. Colegio de Dagupan's consistent sterling performances in board and licensure examinations in ECE, LET, CPA and Nursing is an added feather to the institution's cap, not to mention having the highest passing percentage rating in the entire province since 1996. The College produced a 21st placer in the licensure exams for ECE in 2004 in the person of Edwin A. Dumo. The feat was bested by Ronald L. de Guzman, the first CdD summa cum laude, who registered a 90.71% rating in the licensure exams for CPA in 2007, landing in the top 20 slots. It has lately produced a board topnotcher in the Licensure Examination for Nursing in the person of Rizza A. Tamayo who placed no. 6 in the 2008 examinations. Colegio de Dagupan likewise, was the first in the entire province of Pangasinan and in the whole Region I which registered the highest average passing percentage in both the Nursing and CPA licensure examinations in 2007 with a 67% in Nursing against the national passing average of 48% and with a 63% in Accountancy as against the 37% national percentage.
