Cocoa Abrabopa Association

Cocoa Abrabopa Association (CAA)is a non- political and not for profit organization made up of serious cocoa farmers seeking a better life by using the Cocoa Abrabopa Package. The Association was established in January 2008, having been piloted at Bunso Nkwanta in the Western Region of Ghana since 2006. The concept originated as a model in 1999 wit... h a package of agriculture inputs (fertilizers, Agro-chemicals and Training) application recommended by the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG). The Association's headquarters is located at Dunkwa-on-Offin in the Central Region of Ghana, in the heart of cocoa growing regions in Ghana. The Association currently operates in all seven cocoa growing regions (Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Central, Eastern, Western North and Western South ) in Ghana with 1,885 farmer based groups made up of about 17,000 cocoa farmers, cultivating about 45,000 acres for the 2012 season.Read More
