Clyde Valley Blackhawks

The Clyde Valley Blackhawks are an American Football team based in Wishaw, Lanarkshire. Founded in 2007, we began playing competitive football in 2009 and have strived to grow our programme and compete at a high level every year. The Blackhawks were formed as a project by ex-Clyde Valley Hawks and Clydesdale Colts players and coaches to set up a se... nior team under the Clyde Valley name and to provide players from our junior and youth set-ups a place to play as they became eligible for full 11 man football. Many of the coaches and players of the Blackhawks had been involved previously with our junior and youth teams, the Clyde Valley Falcons and Clyde Valley Hawks, winning multiple British Championships respectively. In Head Coach David Yates' first year in charge, he lead us to one of our most successful years as a team, winning the NFC North 2 Division with a record of 6-1-1, ultimately ending the season with a loss in the playoff semi-final.
