About Cloud Rosa
By providing school girls with reusable sanitary towels that are sustainable and can be washed and reused for 2 years, they will be able to manage their menstrual cycle hygienically, in privacy and with confidence for their entire school time. We started by supporting a church in Gugulethu now aiming to include local communities to sew the pads in order to create jobs and extend our network. Taking into account that disposable sanitary towels take 500 to 800 years to disintegrate and are either sent to landfills or go through the sewage system and end up polluting the ocean and beaches, reusable pads are an environmentally friendly solution, too. Our pads are also great for every girl and woman who wants to avoid chemicals and dryness left behind by disposables.
