Clean Title LLC was founded in 2004 by attorney Walton Tate in Hammond, Louisiana to meet the demands of high volume national lenders. Under the direction of Mr. Tate, Clean Title quickly became one of the largest volume full service real estate title companies in the state of Louisiana. This was accomplished by providing exemplary service includin... g title commitments in fewer than 24 hours throughout Louisiana, and many parishes in a matter of hours. In fact, the average turn around time for a title commitment was less than 6.15 hours. In addition to the expedient turn time for title commitments, Clean Title established a statewide network of attorneys and notaries that could provide 24 hour mobile closing services. As demand from lender clients increased, additional offices were opened in Mandeville, Louisiana; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Little Rock, Arkansas and Mobile, Alabama. At the height of the real estate boom, Clean Title facilitated over 250 full service closings and over $20 million monthly in loan volume. Clean Title continues to aggressively provide complex curative services. If Clean Title cannot cure a title, it cannot be cured. We provide successions and probates in most instances within one week. We litigate when necessary and offer exemplary cancellation, redemption, and conveyance services. In addition to full closings, Clean Title also offers individualized title services for our clients. These services include any combination of title searches and attorney opinions in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 22:2092.2, mobile closing, issuance title insurance and recording services. From a central location, Clean Title now operates on a statewide basis in Louisiana and Mississippi, providing all services with a concentration on searches, title reports, and closings in Louisiana and full closings in Mississippi.
