Clayton has managed numerous and complex construction projects, including the complete renovation of a 10,000 square foot Presidio Heights home, a ground-up guest house and renovation of an exi... sting William Turnbull house in The Sea Ranch, and the management of a substantial portion of work for the 2010 Decorator Showcase. Clayton is a native San Franciscan, having attended Town School, University High School and UC Berkeley. His commitment to education in the Bay Area continues through his support of the UC Berkeley Leadership Fund, The Summerbridge Program, and his companys sponsorship of the 7 Tepees Youth Program. In the Fall of 2015, Clayton began serving on the Board of Trustees at University High School. Clayton is a regular swimmer and he tries to squeeze in mini-vacations throughout the year. Claytons travels are extensive, beginning with academic study in Spain and Cuba and recently including trips to Colombia, Japan and Mexico City, where he was re-energized by thriving design and architecture communities. Clayton Timbrell & Company is often engaged by owners as early as the acquisition of a property in order to evaluate construction feasibility, potential costs, and value propositions for a particular site. Once a property has been purchased, we work with clients, architects, and relevant consultants to develop a Rough Order of Magnitude, informed by CT&Cos experience in comparable work and our study of historic cost data. At the point of filing for permits, clients can have the assurance that their costs and schedule have been largely established, and proceeding with plan development and permitting is an informed next step.
