Clayton Park School

Clayton Park is a happy and hard working full primary school located in Wattle Downs, Manurewa. We have been here since 1979 and changed in many ways over the years. We cater to students from Year 0 right through to Year 8. We are a culturally diverse staff and community. We are currently excited about the new school re-build, having just blessed t... he last of the new buildings on July 26th 2019. We are still developing our waharoa, Peace garden and courts for the next short while. We have large school grounds with a fantastic hall for sports and arts. We have a Maori bi-lingual unit for years 1-8 and a Samoan bi-lingual unit for years 5-8. Our brilliant music teacher finds us winning regional and national band competitions each year and we are developing our talents in choir singing too. We are developing our knowledge of play-based learning in the junior school and building on collaborative practices across the whole school. We deliver a broad curriculum and showcase this through events like STEAM Fair, speech competitions, Cultural festivals, Talent Quests, Robotic competitions, CCSA Year 7/8 and MPSSA Year 5/6 sports competitions.
