Clayton & Little's Austin office of 21 talented architects and staff, and one talented office dog, Junior, is located in the historic Rogers-Lyons House in the East End Cultural District. Its work has been recognized with awards from the American Institute of Architects and the Texas Historical Commission, as well as Preservation Texas and Preservation Austin. In 2013, it recevied the AIA Austin Firm Achievement Award. Its portfolio includes a range of design redevelopment and new construction of community spaces and infrastructure for Texas Parks and Wildlife, as well as some of Austin's most successful restaurants, including Laundrette, Juliet, Clark's, the renovated Jeffrey's, Josephine House and the café of the historic Driskill Hotel. Other recent notable projects include designing the new recreation hall at Mother Neff State Park, guiding preservation efforts at Austin's Seaholm Power Plant, converting an old mansion into the rock-star haven Hotel St. Cecilia and adding a hip new juke joint to the South Congress strip.
