City Coach

Vacaville City Coach is a public service of the City of Vacaville. Vacaville City Coach operates under the Public Works Department through its General Services Division. The City utilizes a transit service contractor to provide the labor and administration for the Citys public transit system. Vacaville City Coach operates a fleet of eighteen (18) 3... 5-foot, low-floor, CNG buses for fixed route service. Each of these buses has 30 seats. Demand response service is provided by six (6) 15-foot cutaway vans with eight seats. Vacaville City Coach operates six local fixed routes that provide coverage throughout the city. Most routes begin and end at the Vacaville Transportation Center, which functions as one of two main transfer centers (the other being in Vacavilles downtown area). Also, Vacaville City Coach provides complementary ADA paratransit services within ¾ mile of its fixed route bus services and administers a local taxi scrip program.
