Chronic Fatiguers Unite (CFS Unite) is a support group providing local and online support and advice for people with illnesses that have a main symptom of Chronic Fatigue. We are here in times of difficulty, the lows and highs of having these illnesses and our aim is to provide a safe and supportive space by listeni... ng, offering advice and information and getting people in similar circumstances in contact with one another. Who is CFS Unite aimed at? CFS Unite specifically, but not exclusively targets people who have a condition that has the main symptom of Chronic Fatigue, primarily our members have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Myalgic Encephalytis (ME) and Fibromyalgia. Those living with Chronic Fatigue conditions and those experiencing Chronic Fatigue. Family members, partners and friends who support those affected and who are concerned about the people they care about. In particular CFS Unite aims to: Support those with the illness via our local meet ups and our online services. To provide direction for those who do not know where to go next. To help those with Chronic fatigue Conditions realize they are not alone. CFS Unite is a voluntary support group run by people who have the illness or who care for those with Chronic Fatigue conditions. What service does CFS Unite provide? A free, easily accessible and confidential support group in which members may be offered advice, guidance and support underpinned by empathy, warmth and understanding. Why is CFS Unite necessary? CFS Unite has been set up due to the lack of understanding and support for those with Chronic Fatigue conditions leading to so many feeling isolated, CFS Unite hopes to reduce these reports of isolation by providing a friendly understanding service and support.
