The inspiration for Christinas designs comes to her from many sources: her extensive travels in Europe, Russia, and the Orient; Her studies in Italian, French and Psychology; her former lives as a Ballet dancer and dance therapist, and her experience as Vice President of Marketing with... Creative Art Flowers, Inc. for ten years. Her mother was a dress designer and Christina attributes her taste and sensitivity to color palettes from having grown up surrounded by wonderful textiles. Theres also her Arabic heritage to which she attributes her love of intricate design and quality craftsmanship. Along with these many diverse influences, Christinas current passion for writing poetic verse serves as the prime inspiration for her designs. Her poetry graces the pages of her catalogs and gives the reader food for thought while they peruse the lovely designs which she offers. As there is never a dearth of inspiration for the poems, so Christina is never at a loss in creating her new designs. You will find the most wonderful and unique limited edition Santas in Christinas line, like the Fur Hat Santa, trimmed with real maribu, the Button Santa, from a forties button cover, and Windswept Santa, from a Russian paper mache ornament. Christinas specialty, however, is elegant and oversized flower designs on glass. These are a delight to display year round. There are also whimsical beaded ornaments, animal figurals, old fashioned clip on birds, bead garlands and finials for every budget.
