I've often been quoted saying "everyone needs counseling at some point in their lives." If you've found your way to this site, this may be the time for you. I know from personal experience that the decision to seek help can be a difficult one. Whether it's struggles with addictions, depression, anxiety, marital conflict, grief or any number of othe... r trials in life, I believe and have come to expect that change is possible! Counseling is an opportunity to have someone walk along side you on your journey to a better you! My role is not telling you what to do. Rather, my role is to help you gain insight into the story of your life so that you can forge a better path forward. Your story is unique and it is a story worth being told. I've called Champaign home since coming to the University of Illinois as a freshman in 1999. After graduating with a Finance degree in 2003, I've worked in several Christian ministry roles including campus ministry, overseas church planting, and currently on staff at Christ Community in downtown Urbana. In all that time, one thing has never grown old - seeing people grow and change. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling and am married to my beautiful wife of 8 years. Together we enjoy the constant energy of our 3 boys (6, 5 and 3). I am a Christian. I love and follow Jesus. I believe God has a plan of redemption that He is working out in individual lives. My faith informs my approach to counseling even though I see people from every walk of life, those who share my faith in God and those who do not.
