Tedrick Stephens has a remarkable story growing up in a large family with a dream of playing professional basketball. One of 9 children, Tedrick was a short chubby kid who was inspired to achieve more by former NBA players Mike James and John Lucas. With a focus on skill development and great determination, Tedrick competed at all levels of basketb... all up to and including professionally. In 2016, Tedrick started Chosen Hoops and successfully developed a leading training program working with over 400 players in northwest Houston. Tedrick is truly an inspiration to all young athletes demonstrating many of the key principles of life - goals, dedication, determination, faith and success. In 2020 the evolution of Chosen Hoops continues. Tedrick has partnered with Chris Fichaud, a level II certified basketball coach, owner of multiple successful fitness studios and years of entrepreneurial experience. The partnership has developed proprietary skills programming, a skills lab with leading basketball training equipment, a recovery room and unique 3on3 league play... all to bring out the best in players of all ages.
