About Choklits
Choklits Child Care Centre is privately owned and operated by the Thornton family. Original owner Anne Thornton was a hands-on Director for 16 years and was backed by a team of qualified child care workers. Choklits is now owned by Anne's family and the management is overseen by her daughter, Tina. This old homestead, and now early learning centre, was named 'Choklits' due to the close proximity to the Cadbury factory up the road. The 51-place centre is a cosy,intimate home-away-from-home environment boasting one of the biggest natural playgrounds in Melbourne. It is open 52 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday from 7.00am-6.00pm (closed all Public Holidays).
