About Chobee Courage Project
The Chobee Courage Project is a mentorship initiative aimed at combating violence against women and girls in Okeechobee, Florida. Developed in collaboration with Martha's House Domestic Violence Shelter and the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the program mobilizes men and boys to engage in non-violent bystander intervention. Through education and mentoring, the project fosters healthy relationships and promotes the importance of equality, teaching young men that violence is not a sign of strength.
