Chinook Lumber

Chinook Lumber is a full-service lumberyard dedicated to serving builders, contractors, and homeowners with expert guidance, high-quality materials, and exceptional customer service. Founded in 1988 by Eric Fritch, whose family heritage in the lumber industry dates back to the 1940s with Fritch Mill, Chinook has built its reputation on deep industr... y knowledge and a commitment to understanding each customer's unique project needs. The company distinguishes itself through a team of full-time, experienced builders rather than part-time staff, with employees who bring decades of combined industry experience and continue to develop their expertise daily. Chinook's service model emphasizes convenience and efficiency, featuring ample parking with spots within 20 feet of the entrance, immediate expert assistance upon arrival, knowledgeable product and building advice, and efficient assembly and loading services that minimize customer time on-site. The company takes pride in becoming an integral part of customers' building projects, viewing the dust and mud that customers bring into the store as evidence of meaningful partnership and successful collaboration. Chinook's operational approach focuses on anticipating customer needs, balancing job priorities, and coordinating deliveries to keep customers in control and on-site. By treating customers as family members and investing in staff development and customer relationships, Chinook has established itself as a trusted partner for builders and contractors seeking reliable materials, expert guidance, and personalized service that simplifies their work and supports their projects from start to finish.Read More
