Chinese Dredging Association

Founded on November 23, 2001, China Dredging Association (CHIDA) is a national-wide, professional and non-profit social organization. Companies and social entities of dredging industry join CHIDA voluntarily. CHIDA engages in the development of China¡¯s dredging industry, maintaining the legal rights of its members, promoting knowledge exchange bet... ween dredging industry and relevant industries, promoting the contacts of its members with international organizations and dredging industry world-wide and promoting the technical progress and management level of China¡¯s dredging industry. CHIDA joined World Organization of Dredging Associations and became of a member of Eastern Dredging Association in 2002 August. Chairman of CHIDA was elected to be deputy chairman of Eastern Dredging Association. Since its foundation, CHIDA has established contacts with international organizations, developed sincere cooperation, promoted development and progress of dredging industry world-wide. CHIDA hosted 19th World Dredging Congress in Beijing and has attended World Dredging Congress for times. In order to serve dredging industry and serve society, CHIDA has actively conducted dredging industry development strategic research and provided suggestions for dredging industry planning, policies and legislation. CHIDA has organized seminars and researches on dredging industry standards, emphasized knowledge exchange and communication with international organizations and promoted the application of foreign advanced technology in China.
