About China Resources
The predecessor of China Resources was "Lianhe Hong", which was established in Hong Kong in 1938. In 1948, Lianhe Import and Export Company was reorganized and renamed China Resources Company. In 1952, the affiliation was changed from the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to the Ministry of Trade of the Central Committee (now the Ministry of Commerce). In 1983, China Resources (Group) Co., Ltd. was reorganized and established. In December 1999, it was separated from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and listed as a central management. In 2003, it was under the direct supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and was listed as a key state-owned enterprise.Explore more
