China Foundry Association(CFA) was founded in 1986, consisting of more than 13,00 volunteer members from foundries, foundry suppliers, foundry equipment manufacturers, scientific institutes, and local foundry associations all across China. Registered at Ministry of Civil Affairs and approved by the State Council of P. R. China, it is the only natio... nal first-grade non-governmental foundry organization. The tenet of CFA is to make the utmost commitment to leading China to a mighty casting country in the world.CFA functions to implement national policy, stands for the common interest within the foundry industry, responds to its members†appeal and serves as a hub between the government and various enterprises. CFA assists the government in enacting industry regulations, enforces industry discipline, accelerates the structural adjustment, transforms the mode of development, and promotes the advance of casting technology, industry upgrade and modern foundry industry clusters. CFA, partnering with foundry associations and commercial organizations worldwide, is a gateway for foreign businessmen, foundrymen, engineers and investors who are interested in world largest foundry market by providing consultation, publications, conference, education & training programs and annual international exhibitions. CFA, with 1574 business entities which are mainly the national key foundry enterprises and more than 60 regional foundry associations (more than 6500 indirect business entities), has over 8,000 members in total. The casting output of these members constitutes more than 70% of the national output. CFA Secretariat (with branches) is a standing body, with 120 full-time staff; it also employs 200 expert advisors and volunteers.
