Chili Cook

The Chili Cook Off is on a Saturday 11am-4pm, set up is Friday at 5pm. Prizes awarded for Best Chili; Best Booth, and Most Money raised. Your booth can be as creative as you want. Be prepared to sell your Chili from your Booth. There is a minimum of 4 people per team and maximum of 8. Cook lots of Chili. Recommend a minimum of 10 gallons per type o... f Chili. All registration fees will be donated by Brock Restoration Must be a registered Fire Department in the Tri-State area. Check-In and Set up begins Friday October 16th at 5pm at the Yeatmans Cove. Be ready to serve by 10:30a Saturday October 17th. Each Team must provide their own cooking equipment, ingredients, and items for selling chili. Brock Restoration and sponsors will supply sample cups and spoons. Teams must fill out a Temporary Food Establishment Application by Friday, September 11th. The application will be available to download at the registration site. The Temporary Food Establishment permit will be paid for by Brock Restoration. This permit is NOT transferable. This permit must be posted in your booth. One person in the booth is required to have a food handlers card. The Food handler card holder must be present at all times "I GOTTA GO" AT THE TRI STATE FIREFIGHTER CHILI COOKOFF!! SO WHY NOT SPONSOR A PORT-A-POTTY? Thats right, for as little as $35.00 you can place a message on the door of a Chili Cook Off Potty. This is one of the Cook Offs non-revenue producing expenses and you can help raise more money for The American Red Cross by defraying the cost of a Port-a-Potty.
