Our mission is to make children a national priority. Every child deserves a fair shot at the American Dream. But that dream is harder to achieve as inequality increases. We don't want to just shrink the opportunity gap; we want to build a movement to eliminate it. We raise the profile of children's issues through grassroots activism, public educati... on and voter mobilization. Every Child Matters does this in partnership with national, state and local groups. Our conversation should focus on: Ensuring opportunity for every child; Allowing parents/caregivers to both provide and care for their children; Guaranteeing access to high-quality education; Keeping kids safe and healthy.
