Justina is a Hospitality Professional and Social Entrepreneur. She is the founder of the Calabar Hospitality House Limited (CHH) an indigenous firm that provides innovative and pragmatic human capital development and customer service solutions for the rapidly changing Tourism and Hospitality environment. The sole aim of its establishment in 2013 is... to "raise quality manpower" for the tourism and industry. Since inception CHH has trained over 5000 personnel in the industry and is continuously addressing the youth unemployment challenge by helping to create job opportunities for over 1000 persons through its workforce productivity program. It is her ambition to build CHH into a hospitality business institute that provides qualified manpower to the ever growing tourism and hospitality industry and extend her passion for raising quality manpower beyond the hospitality industry using CHH's Corporate Social Responsibility - The Justina Ovat Foundation which creates impact through: The ideation series which holds each year in commemoration of the international womens day tackles some major challenges women face in business which includes limited funding, balancing responsibilities, inadequate support and gender inequality.. The Teens with Skills Project tackles the challenge of teenagers taking up jobs in hotels as waiters and engaging in other meager jobs for very little pay, putting them at risk of sexual molestation and other dangers. The project has trained over 200 teenagers since first edition in 2017 some of which are put their skills into use in their immediate communities. The Employability Summit and Job Fair seeks to tackle the challenges of employment and lack of employability skills among young graduates and undergraduates to help them enhance their ability to gain initial employment, maintain employment and obtain new employment if required.
