To all Citizens of Chester County, In November, I sent a message out urging everyone to follow CDC guidelines during the pandemic to prevent the spread of Covid-19 during the holidays. Please be considerate of everyone's situation during this time. I am aware some do not agree on the effectiveness of wearing a face-covering but, I believe we can al... l agree on working together as a community to prevent the spread of COVID. So please wash and sanitize your hands, social distance, wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth when you are out in public, and stay home when you are sick. Some people are more at risk than others. Those that are at risk should take even greater precautions to stay protected. Governor Bill Lee has asked that all Tennesseans wear a face covering while in public and to limit indoor public gatherings to 10 for the next 30 days. I am asking that all of Chester County abide by our Governor's plan to help in this fight for lives. I have seen, many times over the years, our community coming together when there is a need. Let us continue to be that kind and caring community, holding one another up in prayer while following the guidance of those in authority. Have a blessed and joyful Holiday Season.
