To cope with the expansion, Charmante set up Kaiping Fenghua Clothing Factory in Kaiping, Guangdong, China in year 1990 with over 500 advanced Japan made sewing machines in a production area of 15,000 square meters. In year 2005, Charmante set up her second factory, Charmante Garment (Zhong Shan) Factory Ltd, in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China with 45 acres in size and 22,000 square meters of production area to accommodate a workforce up to 1,500 sewing operators.
