About Charlton House
Charlton House (Customs Advisory) Limited is an independent firm of customs duty consultants formed in 2002 by ex-Customs personnel. The company provides advice on all aspects of customs duty management but concentrates primarily on tariff classification and product valuation. Customs duty is calculated as a percentage of the imported value. It follows therefore that if one can legitimately reduce either the value or the percentage, the duty cost can be reduced. This is our area of expertise and since incorporation; we have saved our clients several million in overpaid duty. It is our view that most importers overpay customs duty and with the right advice, they can ensure that this cost is kept to an absolute minimum whilst continuing to comply with all aspects of customs duty law.Explore more
