We have seen many changes in growing and wholesaling during these years. Long discussions can be made regarding these changes and if they have been good for the industry. Chapel Cottage Plants still promote the family business, no minimum order, and one price for each range, quality plants and a good price structure. All year round sales can be mad... e from our stock because of the availability of plants and the point of sale material. This year sees changes to our range with, once again, an increase of varieties. We will however no longer be offering the 4.5litre range. The main reason being the cost of growing and transport costs of the plants. The range could have increased but over 4 years sales have begun to drop away with 1 and 2 litre sales being much stronger and increasing year on year. The company has also decided to continue with a ,no minimum order service' on the 1 and 2 litre ranges but cannot guarantee ,same week delivery' on orders under 24 trays, This will apply all year round , and the one and only reason is that, to maintain a competitive price structure we must maximise our transport. On the transport front we have used our own transport whenever possible but have had to use outside haulage companies also. We know we can keep the best prices for you by doing this and will continue to do so in coming years. Prices that we are offering you, you must agree, are very competitive considering the service, quality, availability and point of sale on offer.
