Chalet de Rose is a 2 bedroom holiday Gite in the beautiful Cre... use department (23), located in the south west of France in the Limousin/Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. Set in a quiet rural location with a private heated swimming pool and stunning views of open countryside. The Gite has a farm cottage atmosphere of stone walls, panelling and exposed beams, an open plan seating area and fitted kitchen with dining table. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle etc. Bedroom 1 has a huge superking bed with large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. A baby cot and high chair are available. The shower-room has a touch of luxury with a double sized shower unit. The Gite has French and English (Freesat) television and a DVD/Blue Ray player with DVDs, books and games available. Free internet/Wifi extends throughout the site and there is good phone and data coverage from most of the mobile operators. Our very pretty local village is 3.5km away and ideally reached by car. In the village there is a church, a well stocked shop and a friendly bar/restaurant with a terrace and pleasant village green. There are other shops, bars and restaurants, bakeries, butchers and post office located in other villages close by. There are many rivers and lakes in the area including several with beach facilities for youngsters and activities for all ages including swimming, fishing, canoeing, pedalos etc as well as waterside bars and restaurants. Some of these are within 20 minutes drive and the busy water sports resort at Lac du Chambon, Eguzon around 40 minutes away, well worth a day trip.
